Hello, my name is Elijah Pequeno. Fun fact, my last name means small in Spanish (literally).
Some things that I like/hobbies are: motorcycles, classic cars and trucks (and fixing up my own classic 79 F250), snowboarding, hiking, game nights, and woodworking.
I was born and raised in Salem, Oregon. I was raised in a Christian home and have been taught the Word of God from an early age. I grew up going to church and helping out in church. Though, it wasn’t until freshman year of high school that I realized how true God’s Word is. God had reached out to me in a way that made me realize the reality of His existence and the weight that comes with it. That’s when I learned that this world has no eternal value, and that the only true thing that does matter is God Himself. I had an experience with the Lord that freshmen year, and since then I have taken my faith seriously. I have been searching for answers for why God reached out to me that way, which eventually led me to studying the Bible in a Christian university. I was in search of how to grow closer with God, and growth in the Lord is what I gained. But I still desire more of Him, seeking to know where He needs me most, which in a long story short, has brought me to missions.
(Feel free to reach out to me and ask about God’s work in my life!)
